You can do this.
I covered it in marine grease, duh.
You should get a transmission jack.
I thought first seeing the green and black spraycans that you also got
yourself a red one for the tank! You have experience now with the red
jerrycans you refurbished! But that would turn your classy MG into a hotrod
with his red tailtank! I wouldn’t have come up with the idea of greasing
the tank! As it galvanised I would have maybe used tectyl! But as you
always say you do it unconvensional I agree with you that this method will
be very apropriate! This will last our generation and you won’t see your
gastank rusting! I would do it myself if my tank wasn’t made out of
If that grease holds the tank underneath the MG it will also explain the
fact why the post of your lift stay where they are!!!:-)
I like to point out how cars improved in safety because the tank in this
position of the car is risky business when getting hit on the tail!
The car got some descent speakers!!! Is this the same car used in the
eighties videoclip of Everybody Wants to Rule the World!!?:-) by Tears for
fears? If you don’t know the clip I recommended to you!!! Very good song
and nice images of your car!
Lining out the screws is a pain in the tail!!!
Love your videos!
Just ran into them yesterday, sub’d!
Thats my dream garage too!
we use undercoating on areas like that.
